I think Milo has outgrown his first doggy bed

But he's trying so hard to make it work !
(of course, it doesn't help that he's managed to flip it upside down, too)

Big day for puppy

Wagville evaluation today went well! That means Milo gets to go to
doggy daycare anytime now. He made a little puddle in the evaluate
room but played nice with the other puppies and was super tired when
he got home. Lot's of kisses for the staff.

Later in the afternoon he went to get his rabies shot and nails
clipped. More dogs to bark at and tons of people to lick. Maybe it
was the shot but he seems to have forgotten his car manners as you can
see here. At least he started looking out the windows :)

Milo's first walk in the rain

So it's pouring and freezing (for Cali). Peter took Milo out for walk
up the hill. Here he is right after they got back. Poor puppa was
shivering his little feet off. We wrapped him up in a blanket and he
napped until he dried. At 20 lbs he's officially twice as big as the
day we brought him home.

This is Milo's favorite thing

A bone stuffed with all natural sausage stuff.
Chomp chomp chomp chomp. He's getting really good at getting every
last bit out if there, silly fuzzy muppet.

Sometimes Milo gets stinky feet

Especially when he stomps in his own poo. That's when he gets a
footbath. But he's kinda klutzy and it can turn into an all over bath.

Sometimes my knees are bald

Milo learns tricks super fast

So far he knows sit, come, shake, down, rollover, leave it, take it
and we're slowly getting 'stay' to stick. This is Milo doing down,
don't his back kegs look funny?

I'm gonna bite your knee ...

... that's ok, right?

I'm starting to like this blanket

but don't push me.

Where do you think you're going?

I like to climb on stuff ... and people ...

Someone has not quite figured out humping

He looks so innocent doesn't he?
As far as we know Milo has only humped two things - both of his puppy beds. WTF?

Icky tummy

Poor little Milo wasn't feeling well last Thursday. See that sad
little lump hiding in the blanket? Our best guess is that he dug up a
mushroom in the yard. Poor Peter came home to soupy poopy all over the
kennel pen and a puppy who didn't to want to eat or drink. We were
worried enough to seriously consider taking him to the puppy ER. After
shoving some Pepto in his maw and all over his paws sad little Milo
started drinking some broth so off to bed. In the morning puppa was
totally normal! But we're getting him some pumpkin just in case.

Where's Milo?

He likes warm places ...

Milo doesn't like his new blanket :(

Milo Flashback!

On Friday I took Milo back to Barks & Bitches for his shots and to
pick up some more alligator treats. The staff was a lot more excited
to see him than he was to see the store which was a big surprise to
me. Poor little Milo loves everyone and every dog but apparently not
in _quantity_. 10 dogs sniffing and snuffling around him was just too
much. He kept jumping in my arms to be picked up and crawled all the
way on top of my head once. Then my little klepto tried to make off
with a bully stick! But the staff was super happy to see him and one
of them told me that Hector/Milo is one of the cutest puppies they
ever had in the shop 

Since I didn't have the presence of mind to take any pics of these
shenanigans you get these pics from before Milo cane home with us.
He's about 8 weeks old here. Isn't he tiny?

Vino!

We had to make up faux wine bottles for episode 219.

Auntie Tara came to visit last Wednesday

And she had a great time playing with fuzzy monster's little belly.
And look- the first appearance of creepy glowing doggy flash 'red
eye'.

So it's been another week

And I suck at daily updates. It's been an exciting week in Miloville
but the frenetic little monster face just doesn't sit for photos
unless he's napping.

So here we illustrate how Milo likes to nap in the dark. See him
slowly burrowing under his blanket? He did that all by himself.
