Hah!

Puppy has no problem tearing around the house with his puppy bed but
somehow does not think he's allowed to move the "people" cushions -
resulting in silliness like this.

Milo doesn't know what to think of the new Lumix.

Milo Flashback

It's hard to believe he used to be so small. This was puppy at 10 pounds.
Last night Emily taught puppers to "ask/woof". This morning we've refined it to "woof" and "bark".
I think we're going to try him out at agility in a few weeks.

I am King Of the Couch!

We just rearranged the living room. Prior, puppy would run like crazy
on the couch but didn't sit on it much. Now he has claimed it as his
own. Perhaps there's some kind of intrinsic dog feng shui regarding
always sleeping by the south wall ...

Ghost-face puts himself to bed

Around 10pm puppy will start stomping his feet a little and put
himself to bed. If you don't follow then he'll begrudgingly follow you
around until you do, giving you reproachful looks the whole while.

Milo's face and feet are turning very light. He looks like a puzzled
little ghosty face in the dark.

What is this?!?!??!

And where the hell did you get it Milo?

Fishtar Island!

Fiesta Island on the map anyway. San Diego has an entire uninhabited
island open to off leash pups - a super dog Tom Sawyer island if you
will.

Milo had a grand time and managed to make an I credible stinky mess of
himself. Here he is rolling gleefully in some kind of tar/dead fish
amalgam. This went on for some time and made the interior of the car
extremely gag inducing.

After much useless rinsing we decided to walk back through the
supposedly less malodorous interior of the island. Puppers, who felt
too wet from his rinsing, romped, rolled, floundered extensively among
the weeds - completely studding his coat and harness with thistles and
giving himself a hilarious hay fever face.

Fortuitously, a conveniently located and well appointed self dog wash
lay nearby and thus the stinky, prickly puppy was much tortured by no
less than two shampoos, several combs and three towels to restore him
to a non-fishtar huggableness.

Milo has developed a distinct one-ear-up-one-ear-down aspect

Munchkin's new tag came

So long dinky Petsmart tag!
This modern aluminum bar has enough room for his name, our phone #s
and his license number, no jingling yay!
